Bachlorette parties can be painful.

Hula now officially goes by the name Mrs.Hula Kindberg!

{well Jamie "Hula" Kindberg technically ;)}

So here are some pics starting with the Bachlorette party, Enjoy!

 The only Picture I got of us during the party. Isn't her dress fantastic?? Totally jealous. We had to convince her to purchase this dress, we saw it in the store and basically held a gun to her head until she bought it. I think she is grateful we did ;)

Oh and I wore heels. Which never happens, I am not a heels kinda girl at all. I actually kind of despise them, but I will pull them out for special occasions.

We did a scavenger hunt as part of the party and I wasn't smart enough to bring flats so I waddled and trotted around on cute but painful heels all night.

If I wasn't convinced that I look ridiculous when I try to walk in heels the guy in target who loudly blurted out to his friend "Hey! did you see that girl trying to walk in heels?? hahahahaha!" definitely confirmed it. Him and his friends also proceeded to throw a ball and whistle at me as I walked by. 

Don't treat girls like a dog bro. Even if they do look ridiculous.

I really thought my ankles were going to break in half by the end of the night. Even though I was in pain It was still so much fun, we ended the night practicing the Hannah Montana "Hoedown Throwdown" and Yes we did perform it at the wedding, which was so much fun! Seriously you should just learn that dance for funzies. Everyone should know it.

Those were the only heels I owned and the last time I wore them was a Year and half ago at another wedding.

I just taught myself how to use imovie. Prepare yourself.

Boy do I have a treat for you guys today.

Breanna and I are making a video speech for Hula's wedding this weekend and neither of us have ever made a video let alone edit one.

So I watched a couple you tube videos and proceeded to teach myself how to use imovie on my Macbook this morning. 

Can I just say how proud of myself I am??

I am really bad at computer stuff, Its amazing I even figured out how to set up this blog and not somehow delete the whole thing. 

So anyways I found these old videos from last summer when my sister and I were babysitting and used them to practice making videos.

If you want to see me dancing to Justin Bieber (even though you cant hear the JB song because of copyright or something...) really fast and then really slow then watch this video.

It will only waste like 40 seconds of your life. 

I might have also got video happy and dug up some footage of my dad playing just dance.
I am really hoping he will let me put it up.
If not i can just store it away for blackmail :)

Did I just win the award for longest title ever???

I just like to tell it like it is in the title, you know what I mean?

I just want people to know what they are getting themselves into. So really I am just looking out for all of you. 

You can thank me later. 

Since its halfway through February I thought I would give a little update on how I have been doing. 

I'm not gonna go through every goal I had because let's be honest I am not sticking to most of them. Just the important ones, or the ones I find important :)

• I have continued to not drink soda, woo hoo! You would think after an entire year of not drinking it that you wouldn't crave it anymore. Wrong. I still totally crave it.
• Am I eating healthier? Well as I am typing this I am finishing off an entire plate of donuts, I had Starbucks twice and candy for lunch yesterday. You can probably guess how well I am doing.
• Read 2 books a month:

 BAM!

I read 5 in January. Not doing so well in Feb though, I still have yet to finish one :/

I'm really glad I read Crazy Love because Francis Chan is speaking at a local church and I am super excited to hear him!

• Work out: Ha. Ha. Ha.
• Try new restaurants: On valentines day my parents and I tried a new Mexican place that was Delish. All you need to know about the place is that they have bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese....
• Read my bible everyday: I am really proud of myself for this one actually, I have a bad habit of reading it everyday for like a week or two and then taking a long break before I pick it up again But I think I have only missed maybe 3 or 4 days since Jan 1st. Its amazing how much better your day goes when you start with the Word.

• Be more crafty: I made some photo booth props for an upcoming wedding so I guess that counts.
• Get a Tattoo: even if I wanted I have not had time to check out places and make an appt.

Maybe next time I check in with you I will be able to say I have been working out and eating healthier.

Probably not though.

25 years = How long my parents have been married.

The title of this post only reminds me that I will be turning 25 in about 5 months. 

Idk why but 25 seems soooo much older then 24, anyone feel me??

Anyways, this post was supposed to be about my parents, not me. 

So here we go!

Like I already said my parents celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary last month so my mom asked me to take a few Anniversary pics for them. We plan on doing more because we waited to long to do it and started losing light pretty quickly.

But without further adieu here are some that did turn out!

Flashback Tuesday Numero Dos.

Today I am going waaayyy back.

Do you see those eyes???

Of course you do! They are half the size of my face!

I had huge eyes, a wrinkly forehead and an was extremely bald, which is the reason I'm guessing my mom stuck this flattering bonnet on my head.

When I was born my Aunt told my mom I looked like E.T. 

Then my mom cried. Which I think is totally justified.

I would cry if my baby looked like this too.

Took me a while to grow into those eyes, I remember being called bug eyes in elementary school.

At 24, I'm pretty sure I have finally grown into them. 

at least I hope so.

Anybody else out there that wasn't super adorable as a baby?

The day we went to the lake and it was empty.

While My sister was here visiting during Christmas we decided to take a trip to the lake one afternoon and have lunch.

When we got there though the lake was gone.
K, not the ENTIRE lake, but it was extremely low.
There were a bunch of boats just out sitting in sand, slides leading to sand, docks in sand....I think you get it right??
It was just weird, you expect to drive up and see a big beautiful lake and end up driving up to a small sad pond.
We took advantage of the super low lake and took a bunch of pictures of each other standing in the "lake" The pictures of us on the tree stump would have been pictures of us drowning if the lake had been full to its normal capacity.
Don't mind some of the twilight-ish photos of me. I didn't do it on purpose. There was a forest behind me, I'm pale and was wearing red lipstick, it was bound to happen.

Think they need a last minute vamp for Breaking Dawn part 2???

There are a lot more photos but I will save them for another post :)
My mom and dad were there too so they may make an appearance...pretending to smoke cigars out of large sticks.
And we wonder where I get my silliness from??
I don't.
Its true when they say the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree friends.

Speaking of my Parents, they totally celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this week.
So I may do a post about that because I may have taken some anniversary photos of them.
