My week in instagrams

Splurged on two new nail polishes this week, yes it is a splurge when you didn't have a job all summer.

I don't read this magazine.......but someone thinks I should. This is the 2nd one I have been sent addressed to me. I get the hint guys, I will work on making my Home and Garden a little better.

 Did I really post this picture this week? I sure did. This is what I look like after blow drying my hair. You are lucky you are looking at a tamer version of the usual afro that I obtain.

I guess I have nothing else to hide now that you have seen my fro'.

Tell me my hair looks better in this picture. Lie to me if you have to.

 Went to the drive in for the first and last time this summer. Had to do two separate pictures so I could include my mom. Unfortunately I am not lucky enough to have a photographer follow me around to take pictures of me and what I do all day so this is what you get. Although if you know someone who is willing to do the job for little pay, send them over my way (and by little pay I mean no pay). I also didn't have my handy iphone tri-pod with me. Jk. I don't own one of those. Do they even exist? Cuz if they do, you should buy me one.

Went to Wal-Mart for some late night craft supplies and this is what we had to deal with. It's Long lines in case you cant tell. Apparently all of their employees decided to not show up to work on the same night.

 I played Hairdresser on my sister on Friday night and tried out some new hairstyles I just learned. Now if I could just do it to my own hair.....Any hairstylists willing to do my hair every morning for me for little pay? I will pay you what I will be paying my photographer.

 I Like using Christmas cups in July for my coffee. Or it was just the only thing that was clean. You decide.

 Finally got to meet this precious Kaiden today. Isn't he such a doll? Definitely gonna be a heartbreaker.

A confession.

I have a very, very short attention span. Like an attention span of a fly (Someone actually told me that one time.) So I have a hard time paying attention to anything; people talking to me, the tv, the recordings on the phone telling me what number to press, sermons in church (terrible I know!)

I am trying really hard to work on it. My sister helps me with it a lot. She tells me really long stories, and yells at me if my eyes start to glaze over. I'm hoping over time she will scare me into paying better attention. So if I ever have a conversation with you and it seems like I am probably not paying attention, its probably because I'm not. I give you permission to yell at me too :)

K. I just had to get that off my chest, I hope you will all still be my friend after this.

First time for everything

Welcome to my Blog!

That sounded weird, like I was welcoming you into my home or something. eh. whatever. Just an fyi, I have no idea what I am doing. I'm not a writer. I'm probably not that interesting and I have no idea where this blog is headed, but if you are adventurous and want to come along for the ride then take a leap and join me :) I promise I will try really, really hard to entertain you (you read the word TRY right?? which means it wont always happen, but again, will always try!)

Sooo....you thought I was already done talking huh? Sorry. Actually I'm not that sorry. So here it goes.

For my first post I decided to explain my blog title, which can I let you in on a little secret? Took me FOREVER to create. When I read other peoples blogs, I always love their titles and wonder how they came up with them. If you know me at all you know I dont have a creative bone in my body, its more like a creative tendon, or joint or something, maybe not even that. So coming up with a blog name was really, really hard. First of all, Ive had people throughout my life tell me that I am spunky, and I like to think I am spunky (Just tell me I am spunky k??) and spunky is just a fun word! (How many more times do you think I can fit spunky into this post? Lets be honest, probably a lot more.) Then the second part of my title was kind of easy because well, I am a sister. So then Spunky Sister was born. Lets all cross our fingers and hope this title sticks, Because I definitley went through a ton before I decided on this one.
